Meditation evening Nieuwleus-Zen
Meditation Evening, a subdued celebration with mantra, meditation and reflection.
What do you do when everything is different?
If you don't know what's coming? Yoga and meditation are tools to help you be "your best self" so that you are ready for action when it is called upon. What that looks like is unknown to anyone and is different for everyone.
A moment of silence together in these special times has a healing effect, so that you can experience that you are not alone on the roller coaster.
You would like to experience peace and quiet and be still at regular intervals.
Meditation appeals to you but you don't get around to it or you don't know how. You long to experience deep peace. You need insights that guide you on your path.
Practicing and exchanging together
The meditation evenings are there to regularly practice meditation in a group. Here the application of yoga philosophy and mindfulness in daily life is also discussed.

Everyone is welcome, young and old.
We do a few accessible exercises to ground, to bring your attention from outward to inward, to yourself and to tune in as a group. Usually I or someone else reads an inspiring and spiritual text and then follows a meditation with mantra and finally a silent meditation.
After the meditation there is room to share (your experience), and to eat and drink tea together. Bring something small to eat yourself, to share with the group. This is not mandatory; decide for yourself whether you have the time and space to prepare something with attention. The tea is provided.
You can sit on the floor, on a meditation cushion or on a chair.
Participation is on a donation basis.
* Participation is based on Dana donation, cash or via an open payment request. Read more about what Dana entails below.
