Powerful Breath Meditation for a Deeper Connection with Yourself

Meditation: Experience the Original You

This powerful Kundalini Yoga meditation, " Experience the Original Yo u," lets you experience who you really are, the essence of yourself. You can try this meditation for 11 days for free via the online platform .

Preparation

Find a quiet place where you will not be disturbed. Sit in a comfortable position. Interlace your fingers and rotate this Mudra so that your palms are facing outwards. Stretch your arms straight out in front of you without bending your elbows. To protect your neck, roll your shoulders back and relax. Remain in this position; your arms remain horizontal throughout the exercise.

Focus your eyes on the tip of your nose.

Part 1: 1-Minute Breath (3 minutes)

Try to do one round of breathing per minute. Breathe in for 20 seconds, hold for 20 seconds, and then breathe out for 20 seconds. (Or as many counts as you can). Keep this long, deep breathing rhythm going.

Note: If you have stomach or digestive problems, your elbows may feel uncomfortable.

Part 2: Canon Fire Breath (3 minutes)

Stay in the same position and breathe continuously in through your nose and out through your mouth with the force of a cannon shot (mouth in "O"). The more powerful your breath, the more you can heal yourself.

Part 3: Navel pumping (3 minutes)

Stay in the pose. Inhale, hold your breath and pump, massage your navel; pull your navel in rhythmically and release. When you can no longer hold your breath, exhale. Immediately inhale again and pump your navel again. Repeat this in your own breathing rhythm, as powerfully as possible.

Finish: Inhale and hold for 15 seconds, extend your arms as far as you can and apply pressure to push your fingers away from you through your hands. Exhale forcefully through your mouth, canon breath. Repeat two more times.

Circulation of Energy

To circulate the energy you have created, extend your Jupiter finger (index finger) straight up and place your thumb over your other three fingers. Move your hands in rapid outward circles. This movement should be so powerful that your entire spine moves with it. Do this for 2.5 minutes. Breathe in and relax.

Note: This meditation awakens the "Law of Intelligence in your Original Self". If you find yourself in a challenging situation where you need to find a solution, control your breath and focus by doing the 1-minute breath. The answer you need will come to you.

One-Minute Breath: Physiological Effects

The effects of the one-minute breath are quite impressive. This breathing technique is used in yoga, mindfulness and breathwork.

Benefits and effects of the one-minute-breath exercise:

  • Optimizes cooperation between the brain hemispheres.
  • Reduce feelings of anxiety, fear and worry.
  • Openness to experience your own presence and that of the Mind.
  • Stronger intuition.
  • Improved functioning of the brain, especially the “old” brain and the frontal lobes.

"On average you breathe twenty to twenty-five times a minute. If you are healthy, you breathe ten times a minute. A mentally balanced person breathes seven to nine times a minute. Less than that and you are a yogi :)

If you want things to be done for you without you having to do anything, you have to breathe one to five or six times a minute. If you practice this, you can draw the universe to you. It is simple. The longer and deeper your breath, the more your psyche draws everything to you. This is a way to prosperity.

If you sit down and take one breath a minute, you will talk to yourself in thirty seconds. In three minutes you can overcome any state of mind. Ask yourself: Why are you suffering? Do you want to live long?

If you breathe fifteen times a minute on average and you live a hundred years, then with one breath a minute you can live fifteen hundred years. Life is measured by breath, not by years or the calendar."
