Do you feel it too? That the energy is shifting from a "the sky is the limit", hierarchical and endless growth .. to BEING in the now and connecting with yourself and the people around you?

During this transition period it can be restless, in yourself and the world around you. Because how do you know what is true?

Whatever the challenges in your life, change always creates resistance. It is a drag, but you know that you have to move on, that it is necessary to grow, to develop yourself further. What if the change seems imposed from outside, what do you do then? How do you know what is "good"?

During this kundalini yoga workshop - especially for everyone who feels that the past months have brought more than just new rules - we will practically work with a "Sutra" (an inspiring rule of life from yoga) for the Aquarius era, which asks you to look at yourself and others with compassion. So that you can face the changes and challenges in your life fresh, neutral and courageous.

During this 1/2 day workshop I share with you how you can apply the ancient wisdom of yogis in your daily life. We do practical and powerful yoga and breathing exercises to open the heart and bring your body back into physical and mental balance. When the weather is nice we also go outside, the surroundings of the Reest are beautiful.

September 19 and November 9, 2020 - Letting go, relaxing and recharging.

We live in an era of information overload, endless stimuli... there are always things that demand our attention. A few hundred years ago, you received as many stimuli in your entire life as we do now in one day. Due to the permanent pressure on your system, and especially your nervous system, you no longer get any rest and you can no longer go from exertion to relaxation. This can cause all kinds of complaints. Examples of these complaints are; tension in the body, poor sleep, constipation, restlessness, high blood pressure, rapid high breathing and stress.

There is good news:) There is nothing wrong with you. You can train yourself to learn to relax again. During these yoga workshops we do exercises to experience, learn and apply this. We do yoga to release the tension in your body after which you can relax deeply  come during the yoga nidra session.

On September 19, we will balance stress with effort and relaxation, learn (breathing) exercises to apply yourself when you are under pressure and we will do a yoga nidra session.

On November 7th we will do yoga for a deep peaceful sleep and discuss techniques that you can apply yourself to wake up refreshed, even if you sleep a little less. You will develop your personal positive intention to use during yoga nidra.

Are you under a lot of pressure, do you have a "full head"? Could you use deep relaxation? During these workshops you press the reset button and through the relaxation of body & mind you can let go more and make room for fun and happiness.

Everyone is welcome; the workshop is suitable for beginners and advanced yogis .

Location: The Reest Room of the Reest Church in Balkbrug, Oud-Avereest.
Price: 35 euros - register by email annemieke@salland.yoga and/or reserve your mat directly via the website.

Time: 09:00-11:45 including tea and snack (note - new time)

Bring: Yoga mat or cloth that covers the entire mat (or 2 smaller cloths), a blanket to stay warm, bottle of water. Possibly a meditation cushion or bench, notebook and a sheepskin.

What can you expect:  A morning with effort and relaxation, with insight and connection in a beautiful place. After the workshop there is tea and a vegan snack.

For whom: anyone interested in yoga and a conscious life in connection with yourself and others.

The exercises are suitable for everyone, no yoga experience is required. There is time for deepening and personal challenge. If you have never done yoga before, you are very welcome. If you are looking for deepening in your yoga practice, this is also a wonderful moment to fully immerse yourself in (kundalini) yoga.

What can you expect: A varied program in which we do yoga, discuss the theme, sing mantras and, if the weather is good, do an outdoor meditation.

The purchase/reservation of a workshop is final. If you are unexpectedly unable to attend, the workshop is transferable, so you can let someone else take your place. Please report this in advance.
